You can make handwashing a fun and good practice, after any activity involving sticky or wet substances. when they get paint on their hand it is a great way to “get in between your fingers”

I would write a script and practice my words and choose them carefully, have proof to back up your observations. It sometimes help to have a director or lead help deliver news with you, be prepared for any question they may have

Observing and document a child’s development helps a care giver and a parent understand their child/student better. Understanding them better, about their needs and behavior can help make a concrete path for them in education.

I think screen time should be kept to a minimum or NO screen time at school. Younger kiddos are easily entertained in my opinion and they love to make music with their bodies or voices, many enjoy book readings & story telling.

I think a good way to incorporate serve and return in the classroom would depend on the age group. I would personally do an arts and craft project with each having a set of materials, once their art is done they could talk to you about it, then have the next child share.

First, I would ask the parent if there’s anything going on at home, and remind her of our closing hours time. After that I would report it to a director and let her handle the pick up.
