There are usually reasons as to why they are letting out their emotions and we typically tell the child that it is okay to feel that way and once they are calm we talk to them about it. We also use the pinwheel and flower thing to help them calm down, they blow on the pinwheel and sniff the flower. The children really love this.

I found that making sure you are taking your breaks and taking deep breaths can really help with this. Also, maybe taking a short walk on your break.

Safest place for a baby to sleep is a single-level crib, with a firm mattress. They must have their own separate bedding as well.

The way we try to make healthy habits fun are to sings songs while washing your hands or making healthy foods into fun shapes. This is also good for helping the children learn their shapes while eating healthy foods.

Right now we are learning about bread, so we have turned our dramatic play area into a bakery and coffee shop. While the kids are playing in there, we ask questions about what they are making and how they are making it. We let them be creative and lead the activity with their imagination.

  • Observing and documenting a child’s development helps providers understand where that child is at developmentally and if they need help or guidance in certain areas. It also helps show progress or any regression the child may have. Observing and documenting helps providers plan and create appropriate curriculums that will be beneficial for everyone.
