Always start with a positive observation with their child. Highlight the child’s strengths and positive qualities. Then proceed to express the concerns gently to the parent about the child’s development in a compassionate manner.

This allows providers to gain a deeper understanding of the child’s strength and abilities. This also helps track a child’s milestone and progress over time. Documenting helps providers have a better responsive learning environment.

My thoughts on screen time for children in childcare are that it should not be implemented. We can see how kids tend to behave in general after watching or playing games on an electronic. They are more sensitive, cranky, anger issues and etc. this will give caregivers more problems and a harder time with kids that is unnecessary.
