You also want to make sure that you keep on top of your routine so that the children feel safe and secure in what they are expected to do throughout the day.

Go over with them all the milestones that their child is meeting before going over what they need to work on. Once done discussing milestones that the child has been observed as needing some assistance with meeting then approach the subject of potentially getting a developmental screening.

I believe that it is good to limit screen time for children. If you aren’t parking children in front of screens they have so much more availability to develop different abilities. You give them the chance to explore more by giving them some puzzles or toys that can help work on their motor skills. You can talk, play, and read with them so they learn language skills and social skills. they learn so much more from doing instead of sitting staring at a screen.

Providers create a serve and return environment by making sure that they are present and responsive to the physical and vocal cues of the child. Making sure to acknowledge the serve from the child and giving them the recognition in return.

It outlines that early learning programs are defined by state law as places of public accommodation that must not discriminate in employment practices or client services based on many things such as race, creed, color, national origin, sex, honorably discharged veteran or military status, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or ability. The big messages that the WACs give regarding diversity is that no matter who a person is or from what background they come from that you should welcome them and embrace their culture and all the things that make them who they are. To be open and receptive to learning about what in their life has led to where they are now and who they are continuing to grow as.
