    Components of a good early learning environment I feel that is important is safety, variety, and honesty values present. Students should feel safe and protected. They should also be given a variety of enrichment toys and environments to play and interact with.

  • Gathering your thoughts using a script would be beneficial to word things properly. Additionally, having the correct documents on hand for the parent to view.

  • Observing and documenting a child’s development helps understand the child’s strengths and differences. We can be better caregivers by understanding a child’s personal development and create appropriate expectations.

    I feel that managed screen time can be successful. However, screen time may be more prominent at home so in childcare it should be sparingly. For example, using it as an exit ticket or calming segment would be sufficient.

    Being aware of the classroom and the eyesight or interest the child has can help us be more vigilant when in a serve and return moment. Having various toys and interests in the classroom can prompt serve and return.

    I’d mention that although things happen, reoccurring events like this impact the organization and the child. This causes difficulties with the staff and can impact school rules or regulations.
