Being safe and welcomed in an environment is best for all people. If you are uncomfortable somewhere and feel unwanted people tend to shut down. Same for children as it is with adults.

I absolutely agree. You need to state things in a positive way and good things you have observed about their child. Please be truthful and tactful when talking about developmental red flags noticed in the child and say how important the screening is to the child’s future.
