Deep breathing usually works for me, however, taking a walk would probably be one of the best ways to relieve stress.

to release stress for me is cleaning and having to know children feel safe around me and to know they leave home happy and safe. To me that’s the best way to cope with stress knowing the children around me accept me

I take deep breaths, go for a walk at my breaks. and vent when I get home, I also talk with my fellow teachers to see what I can do to maybe limit my stress.

I am luck to live close to my center. I am able to go home for my lunch break and be in a different mental headspace for about an hour before I head back. I have found this helps give me the break that I need in the day.

I like to relieve stress by taking a walk when able, but also by talking to myself aloud to encourage myself to take a deep breath if necessary.

I’ve found that breathing and praying silently (or saying some kind of mantra or affirmation) helps to relieve stress in-the-moment. I then use my break/lunch to get a deeper quiet and relaxation, sometimes in my care because the center is constantly active, so that I can come back refreshed and ready to get back in there with the kids.

Honestly I am going to have to say taking a deep breath and closing my eyes. In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Pray that I’m going to be okay no matter how hard a day it is at work, deep breathing. When in the moment being stressed because of crying, don’t let the kids see that.
