After work, I usually have a short walk to the bus stop nearby, and I’ve found that a few minutes outside, alone, and in the quiet can help with stress a lot before I have to go back home and transition to things like homework and house chores. Deep breathing also does a great deal to regulate my feelings of stress.

Riding my bike, listing to music, drawing, painting, these are just a few things I enjoy doing when wanting to just relax.

For myself how I relieve stress is getting to do the things I love outside of working with kids or being with my own children. I love to read it’s a way for some much needed alone time, I love also getting out for some fresh air with a walk or hiking, I also like to take a bath every so often when time permits with little ones. Overall for myself just getting in some alone time to myself helps me a ton with stress.

When you are doing dancing time, we can be kid and dance with them. when they are having quiet time/nap time you can give yourself 5 minutes to do some breathing exercises to balance your emotions and work in lesson plan.

Mindfulness practices, exercise, deep breathing, spending time in nature, talking with a supportive friend or colleague, and engaging in hobbies or activities outside of work. It’s important for us to prioritize self-care and find healthy ways to manage our stress levels to avoid burnout and maintain well-being.

I think walking is a good stress reliver or just time spent alone or doing something you enjoy. One of my favorite things to do is mow the lawn, it gives me a few hours of alone time to think or decompress.

I personally just take time to walk away. I allow my self 3 deep breathes and then return to that conversation with the child .
