1. The amount of WACs that exist surprised me the most. Many things that would have never crossed my mind are not only stated but remedied.

2. WAC 110-300-0280 Baby bottles are one of the more important tools in the process of caring for the baby but I had no idea so many rules regarding such a non complicated device could exist yet every single one made sense.

3.WACs definitely influence the entire process through and through for a very good reason without them the youth could be subject to very dangerous and unhealthy conditions every single process in the early learning field needs the WACs to ensure every child is safe and cared for properly.

1. What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? While completing the activity, I discovered a lot of regulations that had not crossed my mind previously. Screentime and sleep (rest time) were things I did not think were regulated by state guidelines.
2. Were you surprised by any of the WACs? Though I was initially surprised at how many rules and how detailed they were, all of them are reasonable and are clear as to why they need those regulations in place.

I can see how the WACs can impact my intentionalities and decision-making processes because there are potential legal risks that could be enacted from not acting within the realms of State regulations.

2. Were you surprised by any of the WACs?I was surprised children are able to administer their own medication with parent written consent. I was thinking at this age there would be no question that the provider would absolutely have to be the one administering it.

Yes I can see how the WAC’s will influence my day-to-day practice in caring for children because the WACs act as a guideline on how to work with children. Everything from classroom environment to food handling to document keeping to the safety of children can be found in the WAC’s.

There are a lot of WACs to keep in mind and they are all clear and important. I am just surprised at how each and every WAC is explained in a clear and that all the guiding points and clear too.
