In every profession it is important to understand and know each and every one of the rules in order to be more effective in taking any responsibility and especially in this area that is as sensitive as early childhood education children are very sensitive to everything around them having people capable of caring for them and understanding their weaknesses and needs will make us more aware of our capabilities and weaknesses to reinforce and I was able to discover that each and every one of the regulations and laws that protect our children are for their benefit to ensure stronger and more confident adults capable of realizing their goals and dreams. Some things I discovered while reading the WACs was how this is literally a code for everything you can think of and how detailed each one was.

Something that surprised me while reading the WACs was how much square footage matters. I really didn’t think it mattered how big a room was until now and how it ensures the safety of every child and staff member.

I do believe the WACs will be crucial to my day-to-day planning and teaching of children. I will refer back to it when I plan and even to when I assist with potties.
