When creating and maintaining a schedule I would make sure to include group activities, outside time, breakfast, lunch and snack times, their nap time, independent time, art and crafts as well.

Some components may be where child has space to move around, have it planned out, sectioned out, example be where one kid can be out playing blocks and the other kid can in the side reading a book. Have toys and room organized where they have easy access as well.

I would say gather your thoughts on what you would want to say to the family, after that you may want to practice it with a fellow co worker. From there make sure to have a great documentation and the observations you have about the Childs development and why you make think so by having backup evidence. Try to give the family some understanding and help by giving them ideas and ways they can work with the child that could help improve their development outside the school.

I feel like there should not be screen time in child care because it does effect brain development already. I think that the children interacting with one another in group activities is better than having sit at a screen watching others do the activity than them physically doing it

A way to do serve and return in a classroom is when there is a time when I get one on one, while play time when they had me a toy or a object I say thank you, and ask if they like it, hand it back, let them continue with the toy and so forth and so on.

I would give a friendly reminder that being late can make the child feel and wonder as to why they haven’t been picked almost as if they can sense something off. a parent being late can also make staff stay on till later. Asking the parent if there is any way the child care facility can help from becoming an occurrence, you also want to let them know that you acknowledge them and understand their perspective where they are coming from.

Which WACs address diversity and collaboration with families?

WAC 110-300-0160 address the diversity and collaboration as it states ” An early learning provider must provide culturally and racially diverse learning opportunities, Diverse learning opportunities must be demonstrated by the providers curriculum, activities, and materials that represent all children, families and staff.

What big messages do the WACs give regarding diversity and collaboration?

The big messages that WAC give is that we should always have communication with the families so we know where the child needs more work on and what accomplishments have been made.

<strong style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? <div>

What I <font face=”inherit”>noticed while completing </font>the<font face=”inherit”> activity is that there is a lot of reading and a lot of things you need to be </font>knowledgeable about when it comes ti WAC.

<div><strong style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Were you surprised by any of the WACs?</div><div>

I was surprised by how many there were to learn about and how important they are, although they may seem like they are not important but they all matter since it does involve children.

<strong style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Can you see how the WACs will influence <strong style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? </div></div>

I can see how it can influence our day by day practice in caring for children because you want to follow all safety protocols, the environment guidelines, all for the safety of the children in the classroom and make sure everyone feels comfortable and is healthy.
