Have the children help make the schedule and include a good amount of activities like arts and crafts, reading, and playing inside and out.

A safe and positive environment that is clean and organized. It would have a lot of toys, activities, and books around the classroom.

I would also talk about both the child’s strengths and weaknesses to ease the tension and shed some light on the accomplishments. Then I would have a plan to help the child overcome their weaknesses and improve, and maybe mention some things to the parents to help the child at home too.

It will also help them makeup lesson plans and activities to help further the development.

Screentime in childcare is not that bad. It can be used as a reward or another way to help children learn new things through educational games. Maybe a designated period for screentime would be okay.

It will have negative affects on the child mentally and emotionally. I would then be open to the parent’s reason.

While reading the WACs, I was surprised on how detailed it was. But, after reading it more, I started to understand how important it is to be detailed so it is easy for people to understand the importance of following the WACs. But, I was not surprised by any of the WACs. I do believe these WACs will influence my day-to-day practices because it shows me the dos and don’ts, but I will not be thinking about them all the time.
