If I’m eating my lunch, I am aware of each bite, chewing, and not listening or participating in the convo going on around me. If I have time left, I walk upstairs and sit quietly in a corner just breathing in and out. Then my alarm goes off.

The best idea I have is to share what I do daily. I play like the kids in my classroom. I see when they get bored so I narrate what I’m thinking and then move on to the next activity. I sing ang do movement songs along with the kiddos. I do, the

First of all, the schedule has to be realistic with special consideration to transition time. Consistency is key, follow every day. Younger kids can get used to a picture schedule with velcro. This was practiced when I worked in a SpEd preschool 3-5 year olds.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. – Wayne Dyer
