start with meal and nap times and build from there, like art right before lunch, or music after nap.

I think having a quiet corner or library is really important, because it can be easy to get overstimulated during the day, so having a designated place where the kids can have a quiet place is really important.

I would try to have scripted or practiced what I would say, and I would also try to word it to see if they have also noticed these things, without me seeming out of left field by writing down some of these things.

I think helping kids after they try doing something that may be difficult, after only a few times, because it changes the total atmosphere of the relationship with the child when you tell them to figure it out, instead of showing them how

We understand that sometimes things come up that can make you late, however your child knows they are the last one to leave, as well as the staff who have to stay longer than they are expected to, and they may have to put off their cleaning if their center requires the children to be gone before using chemicals to clean.

- What did you discover about the WACs while completing the activity? I learned a lot about the regulations for nap times/ sleeping arrangements in care centers.
- Were you surprised by any of the WACs? I wasn’t that surprised by any of them.
- Can you see how the WACs will influence your day-to-day practice in caring for children? Why or why not? Yes, I learned a lot of important information and I find that most of things in the WAC’s will help me immensily.

I can see how WAC will influence me, because everything is in pretty simple terms, the way each section is written is well written, and leaves little room for confusion when reading it. This is a good recource to have.
