The first step if there are visible marks on the body from physical abuse, I will ask the child what happened. If the child mentions something concerning I will bring it up to the director. I think its also important on where the marks are on the body.

My biggest worry about keeping infants safe and healthy is during naptime. I worry that something will happen, however I have taken the Safe Sleep training so I think just having more confidence will help with the worry.

If I were a parent to a young child, I would want to know the experience and education of their teachers. I would want the teacher to care about us as a family and truly having a passion for teaching and caring for children. I would be afraid that they might not treat my child with care and kindness.

Knowing your classroom as a whole I believe helps with making certain teaching material fun and effective along with it being memorable. Incorporating all senses can be helpful.

Making sure we as providers know the the typical developmental stages and milestones so if we notice any considers with delays we can share this in an objective matter instead of judgement or assumptions. Having an outline or draft of what exactly is going to be said and it is helpful to practice and receive feedback from a co-teacher and director.
