It&#8217;s works really well when you interact, listen, and do things with the children instead of always telling them what they are not supposed to do or basically standing there to supervise. </p>

It also helps provider see the timeframe it took a child to learn something or their lack of ability to do something. It can also help providers plan activities catered to a specific child or a group of children. </p>

For example, when there are days with no other teacher in the classroom. It can be helpful to have the children listen and watch a book so I can quickly set up lunch or lay their cots down. It depends on the situation, but overall, I don&#8217;t agree on screen time&hellip;</p>

It&#8217;s her decision for the change to be temporary or permanent. If she doesn&#8217;t want to change and late pick-up become an ongoing issue, I&#8217;d ask the supervisor to speak to Mrs. Hopkins during drop off to see&hellip;</p>

<p>2) Parent&#8217;s are the childrens primary educators. Childcare providers should work with parent&#8217;s and provide the necessary support in order for children to thrive to the best of their ability.</p>
