i always ask them to use their word and talk about what emotion they are feeling and letting them know that their emotions are okay we sit and talk until they feel better

I have a wonderful support system in my family friends and coworkers . we take care of each other

Asking the child if everything ok and really listening to the answer Knowing the child well enough o know something is wrong and sit and do a quiet activity with the child that allows the to talk and express their feelings in their own way and time

I have always found open and honest communication key. I do many observations discuss my findings with my director and asst director and then set a meeting with the parents to discuss everything we have learned and where we need to go next

my center has a policy that the parent is charged $1 a min for every min they are late picking up after closing. We call the parents then go down the list on the pick up list
