    Listening to music, talking a walk away from the situation to breathe and calm down, going into the bathroom for a few minutes and taking breathes stepping outside to get fresh air

    I think interacting with the kids whether it’s playing with them talking with them having them share to you what they’re doing or explain what the animal is etc having that interaction with every kid

    Greeting each child every morning, doing fun activities , showing them the games we played growing up wether it’s inside or outside, being able to do a game where each student gets to say their name and point out who were talking to

    I would show them the different toys and activities we have , and mention that everything is safe and at the child’s height so they can reach , the bathrooms the toilets, where the fire extinguisher is, the exit routes in case of an emergency , outside,

    The child will come first in these situations no matter what if I suspected it I would talk with my lead and supervisor to see if their seeing the signs of abuse that I’m seeing as well or if the child is acting different or has bruises and marks on them and just have all the information and everything together before taking it to cps to be able to stop this child from getting neglected and abused

    What is your biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe?<div>My biggest worry is being able to protect 5hem when it comes down to anything school shootings, violence , being able to teach right from wrong, and being able to teach them about what can keep them healthy and what isn’t healthy for them as in smoking, drugs, etc</div>

    What is your advice for creating and maintaining a good partnership between parents and childcare providers<div>Being able to talk about anything and handle the situation no matter what it is or how bad it might be it needs to get dealt with. </div><div>Being open and honest and not judging the parent on anything and having the communication and trust. </div>

    3 things I would want most are hearing about my child’s growth and how well they’re doing and or what they’re struggling with , treat them the same as other kids, protect my child just as much as the other kids.

    3 fears I have are

    Not protecting my kid

    My kid getting hurt bad

    My kid being left out

    Some activities that would get children to engage are doing activities at circle time , doing arts and crafts and have them explain to you what they’re making or what they’re coloring , playing house with Al the children having them explain to me who they are and what they’re doing

    When creating a daily schedule it seems to be more fun to involve the children go over it with the children make it a daily routine add some new exciting activities into the schedule don’t forget lunch snack and nap time .
