interact with the children. read with them, color with them, get on the floor and play with them, ask them questions “what did you do that was fun today?” “do you like to play…. when you are at home?” just questions to get them rambling and that make them feels safe, comfortable and encouraged when they talk to you and that also help you build a relationship and learn more about the child.

try incorporating movement games, hands-on activities and flexible learning spaces for the kids.

To make them fun turn them into games or challenges. for example you can make a game out of trying new fruits and veggies by creating a song or dance to get the child engaged and moving. another idea is to involve their friends and family to make it more exciting and social. adding rewards like celebrating milestones can keep motivation high.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe is mistreatment from others as well as all of the violence currently taking place like school shootings

I think to create and maintain a good relationship between parent and child care providers is to build the relationship off of open communication, share goals and mutual respect.

Three fears i would have would be neglect, abuse, an inadequate safety.
