letting them speak while you listen then finding a solution to help them control hw they are feeling maybe even let them go sit down with a toy or book to just have some them time to clam them down

talking and listening is a big one cause they are just kids and they need to feel safe with you and trust you to be able to tell you anything and playing an showing a positive vibe cause kids pick up those things

doing fun activities , playings games , sing songs where each student gets to say their name and point out who were talking to or songs that teach them about the weather or food

making up songs , making it into a game or even something like you have three carrots left and your two years old you should try eat at least two more that way they are at least getting nutritions into them they need.

make sure you tell them from the start what your doing and if there is any issues and fix whatever there is and come to agreement
