Interacting with the child , doing activities and having conversations making eye contact letting them know you’re interested in what they’re doing

Listening to music, talking a walk away from the situation to breathe and calm down, going into the bathroom for a few minutes and taking breathes stepping outside to get fresh air

I think interacting with the kids whether it’s playing with them talking with them having them share to you what they’re doing or explain what the animal is etc having that interaction with every kid

Everyone has rhe right answer unexpected events happen , emergency’s, illness

A firm mattress in a crib that is safe for the child

Greeting each child every morning, doing fun activities , showing them the games we played growing up wether it’s inside or outside, being able to do a game where each student gets to say their name and point out who were talking to

Playing activities with the kids making songs about the foods and doing fun quizzes on what the food is and what it does to help ur body grow

I would show them the different toys and activities we have , and mention that everything is safe and at the child’s height so they can reach , the bathrooms the toilets, where the fire extinguisher is, the exit routes in case of an emergency , outside,

The child will come first in these situations no matter what if I suspected it I would talk with my lead and supervisor to see if their seeing the signs of abuse that I’m seeing as well or if the child is acting different or has bruises and marks on them and just have all the information and everything together before taking it to cps to be able…

3 things I would want most are hearing about my child’s growth and how well they’re doing and or what they’re struggling with , treat them the same as other kids, protect my child just as much as the other kids.

3 fears I have are

Not protecting my kid

My kid getting hurt bad

My kid being left out

Some activities that would get children to engage are doing activities at circle time , doing arts and crafts and have them explain to you what they’re making or what they’re coloring , playing house with Al the children having them explain to me who they are and what they’re doing

When creating a daily schedule it seems to be more fun to involve the children go over it with the children make it a daily routine add some new exciting activities into the schedule don’t forget lunch snack and nap time .

I believe having stuff at the children’s height where they can reach and having different kinds of toys that they may know some and new ones they’ve never seen it peeks their interest in wanting to know about it and learn more makes them feel appreciated

How does observing and documenting a child’s development help early learning providers? Being able to observe and document a child’s development is a big thing I think because they will hit milestones and I would want those documented so it helps us who needs the extra help and who doesn’t.

I think screen time is okay if they’re doing a learning app or in the general idea of a learning app or even watching a tv show or movie before bed time is okay but not all day everyday it can mess with a child’s learning process etc

When it is free game time and we’re walking around playing with the kids and they show an interest on what something is and we sit there and explain what it is or even during circle time is a good time cause when reading a book a lot of different things gets a child asking questions
