I would communicate with coworkers to let them know how i am feelings . Also i would take time to myself to relax and reflect, maybe do some of my hobbies and spend time with my family.

Some examples of responsive exchanges are to actively listening to child making eye contact when talking and engaging with them in activities. Forming a trustworthy relationship using kind and encouraging words.

I walk away take some deep breaths, listen to music, play with the kids, draw. I also love to here kids laugh it help with my stress.

Advice I would give other providers to help them build connections with children would be to listen and show you care, play with them, talking, be respectful towards them, make sure to use a positive response when seeing negative behavior or a child is struggling with something, and make sure to always give you attention to the children in you care.

I think policies would be useful during emergencies, illness, new staff, and with behavior reports. I think written policies are also good so staff and parents can see the actions and steps to take when having difficulty with a child.

A 2 month old should sleep in a crib or bassinet that meets safety standards of the CPSC, with a firm mattress and no extra bedding.

Tips for creating a developmentally appropriate, fun and physically active classroom would be incorporating movement into your daily routine by using music, yoga, games and even fun exercises. You can also make it okay to allow children to move as needed like with wiggle chairs, standing or maybe jumping in place as long as it is not a distraction.

You can make healthy habits fun by getting kids involved from the start. Let them help you plan meals, meal prep and cook the meal or prepare their snack. Doing it everyday will also help it become a habit.

I would welcome them to come in and have a look around while explaining fun activities and routines we do and making sure to explain hand washing/ bathroom procedure, emergency procedures such as earthquake, lockdown, and fire drills. Also explaining what we do if a child gets sick. While also making sure i answer and questions they have as well.

If i suspected child abuse or neglect I would first notify my supervisor or boss of the situation and then call the right authorities and or child protected services and i would also do all i could to protect the child in the mean time.

My biggest worry about keeping children healthy and safe in and childcare or school setting would have to be the fear of not knowing if they will stay safe or healthy also not knowing what the day could look like.

My advice for creating and maintaining a good partnership between parent and childcare providers is to remember that the parent is the primary educators and support and you are there to continue that support and education. Three most important things i would want for my child is

1. To be respected.

2. To feel safe and cared for the same as every other child.

3. To be aloud to express themself.

1. My child is being bullied or talk down to.

2. My child is not being cared for probably.

3. Not compassionate or ignoring my child feelings.

I think to get children engage is to ask question while they are playing, or to give them new ideas of how to play with whatever they are playing with and see what they do with that new idea. I think it is important to allow children to explore new interests on there own which in turn make them more curious.

When creating a schedule I would plan meal times and nap time first and plan activities around that. I would involve the children into planning to make it more interactive and fun. I would also make my schedule is flexible so it can be adjusted in case changes need to be made through out the day.

Having a learning environment to accommodate all children is important. Just like when we as adults are in are happy place these children should feel they are in a happy place.
