Sharing circle to listen to each student how they are feeling today. I also learned and taught some sign language about emotions. Use colors associated with emotions to help our students express and identify their feelings. </p>

At table time or free choice, I will find some students and play with them for about 5-10 minutes.  Snack time is also a great time to social with kids. Ask about what they like to eat or what they like to do when no in school. </p>

We are learning the letter C for construction theme week. I ask if students want to write C with their finger, elbow, or their butt. Some laughed and said I am silly, but the highest vote goes to butt, so we all stand up and use our butt to write the letter C. </p>

Our main focus is child-led play time, therefore we make sure free choice and outdoor play time are around 45 minutes. We add snack time and circle time around it. There are many activities that don&#8217;t require a screen. My school setting is 3-5 years old preschoolers. They don&#8217;t have strong academic needs to use screens to help with learning the alphabet or math. Save the screen time when parents want to for their children at home. </p>

I would sit down and play with a kid at table time for a few minutes, or during heart&#8217;s desire, I would walk around and stay for a few minutes and play with some kids. One-on-one attention makes kids very happy also we get to know what they like and how they play with others. </p>
